Destiny's After School Adventure

Destiny is an ordinary child with an extraordinary walk and an unforgettable adventure! Every step she takes comes with a bounce and a song: "yayaya-chachacha!" But one ordinary Tuesday takes an unexpected twist when her teacher, Ms. ICantRemember, tells her to board the school bus instead of heading to her usual after-school program. What was supposed to be a simple ride home turns into a journey Destiny will never forget. With her parents away and the streets of Cary, Virginia stretching before her, Destiny must find courage, kindness, and quick thinking to make her way safely home. Inspired by a true event, this story adds a sprinkle of imagination and warmth to a real-life experience that once frightened a family but now shines with lessons of bravery, hope, and the power of community. Perfect for ages 4-8, Destiny's After School Adventure reminds young readers that even the scariest moments can lead to courage, laughter, and love.
