Forest Without Trees

What would the future of the world look like without forests? Following the highly-acclaimed, Milk Without Honey, Hanna Harms continues to address nature conservation by visualizing the diverse aspects of our current situation in poetic images, and with unflinching honesty in her new nonfiction graphic novel--this time with the focus on the vital importance of trees and forests. What distinguishes the different forests around the world, what problems exist, and where is intervention long overdue? Particularly endangered ecosystems such as the rainforest will be address in the question: What must humans do, and above all, what must we refrain from doing, in order to protect and preserve the ecosystems that are so important to us? A graphic novel that not only encourages reflection also serves as a call to action.
