Guardians: The Eye of Horus

Jack North, AKA the Flag, was the world's foremost superhero, a symbol of hope and stability for a world tottering dangerously on the brink of a third World War. When he dies unexpectedly, his legacy falls to his son Marcus-including the Eye of Horus, an ancient artifact long believed to be the source of the Flag's tremendous power. Marcus soon finds that everyone, from his fellow heroes to the Pentagon, want to control the Eye for their own reasons. But there are other forces at work in the universe, forces as old as the Eye itself. Caught up in a cosmic power struggle, Marcus embarks on a mythic odyssey that takes him to the lost city of Heraklion and beyond. But what does the enigmatic John Law want with the Eye of Horus? Can the lovely Princess Ana of Heraklion be trusted? And will Marcus forge his own path, or is his fate inexorably entwined with The Eye of Horus?
