Joe Palooka Comics Vol. 2 #9: America's Favorite Boxer - In the Army!

There was a time when heavyweight champion Joe Palooka was everywhere - in addition to the comics, he was a newspaper strip, radio show, movie star, TV star, board game, wristwatch, lunchbox, and more --- and has even had a mountain names after him! Joe Palooka joined the army during World War II, and did his part to help the Allies win the war. One of America's most beloved characters, "Palooka" has even become part of the country's language. The comic reprints from UP History and Hobby are reproduced from actual classic comics, and sometimes reflect the imperfection of books that are decades old. These books are constantly updated with the best version available - if you are EVER unhappy with the experience or quality of a book, return the book to us to exchange for another title or the upgrade as new files become available.
