Manana Catches A Cold

Manana is a delightfully naughty elephant with a penchant for mischief and a nose for trouble. She learns the hard way how a single act of disobedience can spin out of control into full fledged mayhem. As Manana sneaks out to play with her friends despite her cold, her sudden and uncontrollable sneezes cause a lot of grief and anger for her friends in the jungle. Young readers aged 3-8 will enjoy the little story with an interesting play of words that will help them remember the incidents and characters as the story progresses. There is a sameness and yet a uniqueness in the man- ner in which the central character gets entangled in a web of unforeseen situations. It will require parent participation in helping to read aloud the story to the little minds and help explain or look up the new words introduced here. Children will relate with the simple clean illustrations which will draw them towards the pages over and over again. A read along book for young readers with five fun activity pages.
