Tales of an Unlikely Kinship -The Portal and The Petal

The ancient town of colour fairies lies at the edge of the fading and forgotten rainbow. With humanity's belief in wonder diminishing, their ancient magic is slowly dimming. Seventeen-year-old Peter Puce feels the dullness most acutely; unable to master his own unglamorous colour and disillusioned with his fate, he is branded a failure. Peter, wanting to be known as more than a failure, breaks the oldest rule when he discovers hints about a lost portal to the human world in the forbidden Bodridian Woods. In Luminor, the floating realm, a vital flower is losing its hue, and Peter may be the only one who can help save it. An extraordinary alliance is born as his desperate father and loyal friends give chase, aided the forest's misunderstood guardians. Their quest becomes a race against time to restore fading colour, reignite magic, and rediscover a kinship between worlds - before everything turns to grey.
