Trial of Flame and Wings

Princess Wren Bellator has trained in secret her entire life. She knows she will never rise to the throne. Her brother will make sure of it and he may be worse than their father. The only way to free the Light Realm is by freeing herself first by winning the Trial for Marriage. Beau Renault is the son of the richest lord in the realm, but has a heart of gold and sapphire eyes that changes the way Wren views the trial. Not everyone has entered the trial for her dowry and Beau isn't the only contestant who's made his intentions known. Ezra Loreign was a nobody when he entered the trial. He doesn't want to marry Wren. He avoids the luxury of life at court. Wren finds his cold exterior as loathsome as he finds her stubborn attitude. Still, he keeps Wren's secret and protects her, which makes her wonder what his true intentions are and if he's an asset or enemy in disguise. The trial takes a sinister turn and Wren learns that maybe she can save more than just the people of the Light Realm, but it will take an army she doesn't have and an ally she isn't sure she trusts.
