Dream: As long as people write pysanky, the world will exist

A graphic story about a child from an immigrant family - a journey of growing up, where dreams evolve, values take shape, and the search for meaning begins. This book combines a graphic novel, a "book within a book" (a grandmother's diary), and an introduction to pysanky (Ukrainian pysanky art). Ukrainian and English are naturally interwoven throughout the story, creating a vivid bilingual reading experience. The thoughtful cover, designed as a labyrinth in the shape of an egg, invites the reader to find the right path and its way out. At the heart of the story is pysanky as a living tradition that preserves memory, culture, and connection between generations, becoming a symbol of life and peace. This book will resonate with children and adults, families and educators, and anyone who values cultural heritage, deeper meaning, and the hope for peace.
