The Adventures of Drew P. Wiener: Vol 1: The Yankee Abduction

n the dusty border town of Mortuary, Texas, retired gunfighter Drew P. Wiener wants exactly three things: to raise horses at Hotdog Ranch, drink his coffee in peace, and never clear leather again. The town has other ideas. When a vicious outlaw gang called the Daguao rides in, drinks the place dry, and abducts the mayor - a certified New York Yankee with a talent for long speeches - Sheriff Kaci O'Shidt does what he does best: nothing. Once again the people of Mortuary turn to the one man who just wants to be left alone. What follows involves a box canyon full of every bird in Texas, a tactical grenade that quacks when it bounces, a black mare with strong opinions about incompetence, and a sheriff who has decided the Softest Gun in the West has become too inconvenient to live. Drew P. Wiener never wanted to be a legend. He especially never wanted a badge. But in Mortuary, wanting and getting are two very different things.
