The Anomalies issue 8: Fracture

PTRUTH HAS A COST. AND LIES HAVE PROFIT. Brett Dylan has been cut off from the system. Placed on administrative leave and isolated from the investigation, he begins struggling with pressures that no one around him fully understands. Out in the Outskirts, the community rebuilds after the fire. Kareem steps forward. Chase keeps his head down. But the people living in the shadows of New Hope City may know more than they let on. Late at night, Ramon Aceveda receives an unexpected visitor. What begins as a tense conversation quickly becomes something far more dangerous-forcing Aceveda to question the narrative he's been helping to maintain. A shadow moves through the city. Silent. Methodical. Watching Raul Costa from a distance. And when Aceveda receives a gift with a far higher price tag than expected, the line between protection and control begins to disappear. FRACTURE DOESN'T BEGIN WHEN EVERYTHING FALLS APART. IT BEGINS WHEN WHAT HELD IT TOGETHER STOPS WORKING.
