The Oxygen Syndicate

The air you breathe is a weapon. Evelyn, a fifty-year-old lead "Atmosphere Regulator" for Habitat 7, maintains the delicate balance of life inside the dome. She's competent, meticulous, and entirely unnoticed by the elite above her-exactly how she likes it. But her quiet life is shattered when a high-ranking political rival of the Habitat's CEO drops dead in his sealed penthouse, the death ruled a "natural malfunction" of the oxygen lines. Evelyn knows it's a lie. She is reluctantly forced to partner with Leo, a ruggedly handsome technician from the "Oxygen Syndicate"-a shadowy organization the police believe are air-quality terrorists. Leo is the only one with access to the black-market tech needed to track the invisible killer. They discover the CEO is capable of creating localized, undetectable micro-storms and oxygen deprivation to silence opponents. As they become suspects, Evelyn and Leo go on the run, a high-stakes, man-on-the-run romance unfolding as they race to expose the truth before the killer uses the entire city's atmosphere for their next hit.
